Trip to Genting (25 - 27 Oct)

25Oct - Indoor Theme Park
Our journey starts at 6.30am when Jayden & Jennabel are still in their pyjamas when we left home! We are meeting Uncle Jimmy, Aunty Joanne, Bing Rong, Uncle Nik, Aunty Lili and Issac at Arena Country Club before we heading to 2nd link custom! We set off at 7.30am after our breaky and was jammed in the long queue for about 1.5hrs! After clearing the custom, we speed all the way to Machap for a stopover. After which, we headed to Melaka R&R for our lunch at the A&W restaurant. Glad that the kids behaved quite well in the car. Jayden was watching the Disney cars' movie with the DVD player while Jennabel on & off dozed off ** PEACE **!!! I have prepared lots of toys and snacks hope to keep them occupied thru out the long journey. We took almost 9-10hrs to reach our destination - GENTING FIRST WORLD HOTEL! All of us were drained out especially the drivers!

Is quite difficult to find parking lots and there are still so many people waiting to check-in the hotel. After unloading our luggage into the pathetic small hotel room, we came out to look for dinner. Lotsa of people roaming around and we just anyhow decide on their food junction for the Bah Kut Teh and Dim sum. The kids were amazed by all the bright neon lights and sign boards! Also roller coaster passing over their heads with people screaming away with excitement. After dinner, we went straight for the indoor theme park cos the kiddos can't wait to take the rides...!!! We bought the day pass for all rides for everyone and went for ferry wheels, car rides, tram rides, train rides, carousel etc till about 11pm. All of us are half-dead by then and Jennabel already in her la-la-land... ZzzZzz!

I won't recommend First world hotel for those who are going with family cos the room is really too small and cramp! But of cos we are not staying in the room most time during the day but with kids around... Another creepy incident that we encountered, was thru out the 2 nights we hear irritating "sounds"...! It disturbed our sleep cos the knocking goes on & off for every 2hrs and last about 30min each time... Arrghhh! We heard sounds of card slotting and thought someone was trying to open our door! We also heard sounds like someone is playing with the clothes hanger.... eerie right? Anyway we try not to think so much, so just closed our eyes and continue sleeping till next day morning! LOL......

26Oct - Outdoor Theme Park
Wow... we woke up almost 10am and quickly wash-up and go for our breakfast buffet at the hotel which ends at 10.30am =P At breakfast, we talked about the 'sounds' that we heard last night. Hmm... not only we hear it but the other couples also!!! After breakfast, we decided to go for Outdoor Theme Park and luckily the weather was fine! The kids gets to take so many different rides to their heart content. But Jayden was disappointed with the kiddy bumper car cos he was considered too short and have to sit with Issac gor gor instead. You know la kids all want to be in control with their own car, so after the ride he came running in tears... poor boy! Also, Jayden don't wanna daddy to accompany him for any rides except mummy! He is really a 101% mummy's boy, only mummy can do for him...!!! We (adult) also took this chance and went to try the thrilling flying coaster! Is been like decade since we took such an excitement ride... is really FUN! Glad the other couples are also very sporting, so we took the ride together and leave the kids behind with Aunty Lili for awhile... hahaha! The kids are looking at us from below while we wave to them with excitement before it take off! Picture captured.... whahaha!

27Oct - Home Sweet Home
Holiday usually ends in a flash... after breakfast we went back to the hotel room to pack our luggage and prepare to check-out! We still have balance of RM21 in the prepaid card so decided to let the kids have their last few rides before we set-off. The kids gets to sit their favorite car rides continuously for 4X, to make the ticket worth spending... LOL! We left Genting at 3pm and drove all the way to Yong Peng for dinner at one of the seafood restaurant. We reached 2nd link custom at about 10.30pm, luckily not many cars by then so we managed to clear the custom pretty fast. That's the end of our Genting trip.... THE END!
